AI Disclosure
DRAFT. Not legal advice. Last updated: [DATE TBD].
The Game Master in Loudroll is an AI, not a person. Everything it narrates, every non-player character it voices, every recap and every dream or gossip line in Little Lives is generated by an AI model. A short reminder is shown at the start of every session.
How it works
- The host runs the Game Master on their own AI account or API key (for example, Claude from Anthropic). Loudroll does not supply the AI and does not hold the host's key. [If a hosted-key option is ever added, this page and the Terms change.]
- Player text is sent to the host's AI assistant to continue the story. That provider's terms and privacy practices apply to that text, under the host's agreement.
- The dice are not the AI. Rolls are made by the game engine, in plain sight. The AI explains the result; it does not choose it.
What to expect
- It can be wrong, inconsistent or forget things. It can say things that are odd, rude or upsetting even with safety settings on. Settings steer it; they do not guarantee its output.
- It is not a person and cannot give legal, medical, financial or safety advice. Do not rely on it for those.
- Content rules apply: nothing sexual involving minors is allowed under any setting, and the AI provider's usage policy applies to hosts.
- If anything feels wrong, press the pause (X-card) button or tell the host.
