One person runs Loudroll on their own AI (Claude Code today) and gets an invite link.

Loudroll is MIT-licensed. The hosted version is the easy path; you can also run the relay and this site yourself with every feature switched on, for free.
The host's own AI does the Game Master work, so Loudroll never holds your AI credentials and never resells AI usage.
Questions
Who is the Game Master?
An AI, run by the host on their own assistant. Claude Code is best supported today, and ChatGPT, Claude.ai and Grok connectors are in testing. It can make mistakes, and the host can steer it.
Do my friends need an account or an AI?
No. Players open a link, pick a name and a hero, and play in the browser. Only the host needs an AI assistant.
Can the AI cheat on dice?
No. Our relay rolls every die, so neither the Game Master nor a player can fudge a result.
What does it cost?
Free for tables of up to 4. Your first 3 sessions get everything, no card. A Table Pass is $5 a month or $40 a year for the host, and covers 8 seats, saves kept forever, spectator links and recaps. Players never pay and there are no ads.
Do you resell AI or see my AI login?
No. The host's own assistant does the Game Master work, so there is no AI usage in any plan, and we never see or store your AI login.
Can I play alone?
Yes. Solo play works in the mod today, and Lamplight is the quiet, cozy way to do it.
Can I self-host it?
Yes. Loudroll is MIT-licensed. You can run the relay and this site yourself with every feature switched on, for free.
